The Law of Attraction
There’s more to life than just making money and creating results. Life is really about connecting. Life is about developing a network. Life is about reaching out and assisting other people to achieve their dreams. When you’re able to do that, your dreams will come true more quickly than you ever imagined.

Getting Money Right
Isn’t it about time that you got right with money? When I say “right” what I am talking about is getting money right emotionally. Money is a very controversial subject in our society. Mention money to almost anyone and it will bring out a certain level of discomfort because almost everyone lacks money. Statistics say that 97% of our population works for 3% of society. Only around 4% to 5 % achieve a six figure income and one-twentieth of 1% of society achieve a seven figure income. “Why is it,” I ask, “that so many people struggle when we are living in a world with so many opportunities to create wealth?”

An Agent of Change
Network marketing, direct selling and multi-level marketing are all terms that reference our great industry. What is it that these terms really mean? What do we do? What do we really get paid for? I am privileged enough to have been a part of this great industry for over fifteen years, ten as a marketer, and the last five owning my own seminar company. My purpose in sharing this information is to give you my perspective on what we really do. First of all, we operate in free enterprise where there are no limits. We collectively have the opportunity to receive what the free market will bear. To receive more abundance in free enterprise you will get paid for your service and how much value you bring to your company and in our industry what we do is so unlike owning a traditional small business.

Success is a Process
We all have a desire to achieve some level of success. For some the desire is greater than the average person. Let's face it, everyone wants to be successful but very few are really willing to pay that price of W.E.I.T. (What Ever It Takes). I have assisting entrepreneurs through my seminars, workshops, and personal coaching programs for the past six years and I have found that there are a few key principles that assist people in achieving the levels of success that they deserve.

Why Heart Beats Talent Every Time
It is my belief that talent is one of the most overrated attributes when evaluating what is required to be successful. Although talent is very important when it comes to performing, it often times has little to do with how success is achieved and who becomes successful. The world is filled with talented people, yet why is it that so few people live and achieve their dreams? What does it truly mean to have heart? Heart is the intangible; the invisible ingredient that is difficult to explain and measure to the average person. Heart is the magic, the juice, the stuff, fifth gear, the overdrive that great achievers in life tap into when challenges and obstacles appear.

Anatomy of Goal-Getting
Write your goals down, put them on paper, visualize them, romance them, smell them, feel them, touch them, and believe in them. This is good standard information that we are taught when it comes to goal setting This type of goal setting is practical and informational. My question is, if this information is correct, why do so few people reach and achieve their goals in life? Why is it that only seven percent of America achieves a six figure income? Why is it that only one-twentieth of one percent of the households in America has a net worth of one million dollars?

Breakthroughs to Success
Isn’t it time you broke through the invisible barriers that keep you struggling? I believe that we are all created brilliant, artistic, creative, and loving. It is our past, or our emotions connected to our past, that keep us stuck. A “Breakthrough” is the ability to create a rapid change, a shift in thought, a synchronistic event, an ‘Ah-ha’ moment that allows us to let go, to move through an invisible barrier, and to radically change at any given moment. Can change be easy or is change hard? Isn’t that the question?
I have been through a lot of changes in my life. I spent fourteen years of my life from ages 18 to 32 as a practicing addict and alcoholic. My addictions took me to a place of struggle, despair, incarceration, and to living with my parents at age 31. I had suicidal thoughts, believing that I could not end my insane behaviors.

Paying Attention Without Resistance
Have you ever paid attention to the ringing of church bells on Sunday morning? If so, what do you listen to? Do you listen to the notes or to the silence between the notes?
If you listened to the silence, wouldn’t the notes have a different sound and quality? Listening to the silence is called listening below the surface and this is a technique I have been perfecting for the last few years. I have found that very few people know how to pay attention; therefore very few people know how to listen. It is very important in the game of life, entrepreneurship, sales, and marketing to hear what is really being said - the real meaning and what messages are being sent.

Listening Skills
Only one-third of the speaker’s meaning is conveyed by words. Two-thirds is conveyed by body language, indicating emotional tone. Listening will directly impact your potential for sales and prospecting for new associates or distributors. Becoming a good listener requires practice, patience, and a genuine interest in other people.
Here are three ways to enhance your listening skills:
- make the speaker feel comfortable and important by being courteous and respectful;
- Show your attentiveness to the speaker by nodding your head or saying, “yes” or “I see” from time to time;
- Listen between the lines to detect when someone is being dishonest or evasive with you.

Master The Art of Listening
It is my opinion that listening is one of the most underdeveloped skills in sales and entrepreneurship. When I say listening, I mean really listening. It is a skill that I have taught myself in the last 13 years. Most people in America are what I call average listeners. They hear most of what people are saying or they sort through the fluff.
The master prospectors, however, teach themselves to hear at a different level. They hear what people are really telling them. I teach that 20% of your time in conversation should be spent asking and answering questions; the other 80% should be spent listening to what the other person is saying and not saying.

Dealing With So-Called Failure
What makes the difference between ordinary and extraordinary, between average and excellent, mediocre and superb? Is it family background? Are achievers born into wealth? Is it better opportunities for certain people? Opportunity is a strange thing because two people with similar gifts, talents and resources can look at a situation and one person will see tremendous opportunity while the other is negative and skeptical. One man’s junk is another man’s jewel. Opportunity is like beauty. It’s in the eye of the beholder.
